Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

  1. Oversee compensation and benefits administration, including payroll-related matters, allowances, and employee benefits.
  2. Lead and coordinate talent acquisition and recruitment activities, including manpower planning, candidate sourcing, selection, and onboarding.
  3. Manage employee relations matters and provide guidance to employees and Management on HR-related issues, policies, and workplace concerns.
  4. Oversee the performance management process, including probation reviews, performance appraisals, performance improvement plans, and follow-up actions.
  5. Develop, review, and implement HR policies, procedures, and initiatives in accordance with Company objectives and applicable labour regulations.
  6. Plan and coordinate employee onboarding, training, and development programs to support employee growth and organizational needs.
  7. Monitor and analyze HR data and key metrics, including employee turnover, absenteeism, recruitment effectiveness, and manpower costs, and provide recommendations to Management.
  8. Develop and implement employee engagement, retention, welfare, and workplace culture initiatives.
  9. Ensure HR practices, processes, and documentation comply with applicable labour laws, statutory requirements, and Company policies.
  10. Provide guidance, coaching, and support to HR team members and monitor their performance and development.
  11. Prepare HR reports, analysis, and recommendations to support Management in manpower planning and HR-related decision-making.


Secondary Responsibilities

  1. Coordinate quarterly and annual employee performance review processes and ensure timely completion of required actions.
  2. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, personnel files, and HR documentation.
  3. Support initiatives to improve employees' job knowledge, capabilities, and overall performance.
  4. Promote a productive workplace culture that encourages collaboration, accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
  5. Oversee HR administrative processes and ensure timely and accurate completion of HR-related activities.
  6. Support employee engagement activities, welfare programs, and Company events.
  7. Provide clerical and administrative support for HR-related matters when required.
  8. Assist in reviewing HR processes and identifying opportunities for improvement and greater efficiency.
  9. Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the immediate supervisor or Management from time to time.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4–6 years of relevant HR experience, preferably with experience in a senior or supervisory HR role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR operations, recruitment, employee relations, compensation & benefits, performance management, and training & development.
  • Good understanding of Malaysian labour laws and statutory requirements.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to handle confidential employee matters professionally and independently.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, and Drive).
  • Experience with HR software or payroll systems is an advantage.
  • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
