1. JOB PURPOSE

• To design, create, and maintain visually appealing, user-friendly websites and web interfaces that align with the company’s branding and functional requirements. The Web Designer is responsible for ensuring that the digital presence effectively communicates the brand message while offering a smooth and engaging user experience across all devices.

2. AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Develop design concepts, layouts, and wireframes for websites and landing pages.
• Ensure responsive and mobile-friendly design standards.
• Maintain consistency in design elements, color schemes, and typography across all web platforms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance user interface and user experience.
• Conduct usability testing and apply feedback to refine design.
• Stay updated on design trends and tools to keep websites current and modern.
• Coordinate with content creators and marketing teams to update and manage web content.
• Ensure SEO best practices are followed during content integration.
• Design digital marketing materials such as social media posters, online ads (static or animated), banners, and email templates.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to produce campaign-aligned creatives for various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Google Ads, etc.).
• Ensure all marketing visuals align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
• Regularly update website software, plugins, and tools.
• Monitor website performance and address design-related issues promptly.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and accessibility compliance.
• Work closely with developers, marketers, and other departments to align designs with project goals.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative solutions.
• Manage multiple design projects with attention to timelines and quality standards.
• Undertakes any other tasks that immediate supervisor/Management may assign from time to time.

3. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/KNOWLEDGE/COMPETENCIES

• Diploma or Degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Multimedia, or related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of proven experience in web design or a similar role.
• Proficient in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, etc.), Figma, or Sketch.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Webflow).
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive design.
• A keen eye for aesthetics, detail, and layout.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
• Ability to present and explain design ideas clearly.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to manage time efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Openness to feedback and continuous improvement.
